Lazaro Top Weddings of the Summer

{AMY + JONATHON}

Event Coordinator: Jackie Blackwell; Wedding Gown: Vera Wang; Photography: Joshua Caine; Invitations and Popcorn Programs: Lazaro Design; Venue: The Riviera Theatre; Film Montage and Film Posters: Studio 8 Productions; Officiant: Reverend Barbara Laughray; Reception Venue: Arts & Letters Café; Sound & Lighting, Luners Pro; DJ: Manny Roldan

Without a doubt, the most creative and unique wedding of the summer. I was thrilled to work with this amazing couple. As the Historic Riviera Theater as the background, we went with a 'Vintage Theater' look. Getting the website up was the first step, www.delongvarbel.com
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed in the concession area of the Theater for with "Popcorn & Champagne." Popcorn boxes were cleverly doubled as the programs, which read as a playbill. Next, doors opened to the theater for a short film montage made about the bride and groom. The ceremony itself played out like a theatrical production with spotlights and special effects. So dramatic! Amy and Jonathon had so much fun planning their wedding, I can only imagine what a great life they will have together!

New Territory

Definitely new territory for me, but I have to admit that it is exciting to finally have my very own blog. My friends, clients and colleagues have insisted that I get to work on this so I am finally making it happen! As a Designer, I have the opportunity to collaborate with amazing event professionals and work on truly extraordinary and special events. I hope to inspire someone to personalize whatever it is that you do and make it your own. Thanks for taking a peek, and be sure to stay tuned for more! TLC
