Vintage Glass Glitter

Glitter makes everything look more festive. Love the glass glitter that tarnishes in time and just gets better. A great resource for all your vintage trimmings, check out Tinsel Trading Co.

Hoos getting married

With a third of all engagements occurring during the holidays I thought it would be fun to share some creative ideas for Save the Dates we have been working on.

Once upon a time in Beverly Hills . . .

There was a princess bride named Runya who married her true love, Jason.
Event designer, Ariel Yve, who specializes in fantasy weddings, made this bride's fairytale wedding come to life at the historic and luxurious Beverly Hills Hotel, also known as the "The Pink Palace." I just loved working with this wedding theme and it was so much fun designing everything from the invitations to the sweet custom cupcake boxes. Check 'em out!

Customized invitations were designed around the brides colors of black and pink. The design elements were used to keep the old Hollywood feel of the hotel. A touch of glamour was added with a small Swarovski crystal on the top. Subtle and elegant!

The bride was absolutely stunning is this Kenneth Pool gown.

As favors, each guest was treated to a cupcake to take home for a late night snack. I just love how these adorable custom to go boxes turned out! So fun and the guests loved them!!

Cake Signs

I love creating 'cake signs!' These custom signs stand next to your cake giving guests a sneak preview of what's to come!

Lazaro Top Weddings of the Summer {Megan+Aaron}

Another decadent event by Alexandra Kolendrianos at the Hahn estate this summer.

A sweet box of Truffles from Jessica Foster puts the finishing touch on this table setting.

A fun alternative to the standard wedding album is this: 'Write a message of Advice, a Wish or a Prediction.' Guests loved this, and the couple will be able to keep these sentimental and meaningful notes forever.

Throughout the property we placed romantic signs for guests to read as they wandered around the serene Hahn Estate.

Till death do us part . . .

Dia de los muertos is Nov. 1 and 2.

The Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos in Spanish) is a holiday celebrated mainly in Mexico and by people of Mexican heritage (and others) living in the United States and Canada. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and relatives who have died. The celebration occurs on the 1st and 2nd of November, in connection with the Catholic holy days of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day which take place on those days.

Real Wedding {Christin & Tyler}

It's an honor and privilege to work with the talented and very creative wedding planner, Alexandra Kolendrianos. All of her weddings and events are extraordinary! This wedding took place over the summer at the exclusive Hahn Estate in Montecito, California. I love the combination of colors--so fresh and vibrant. Alexandra and I had so much fun working together on the details of this lavish wedding. My favorite design are the adorable 'clutch' size programs that were put into holders and also hung off of each guests' chair. Scroll down . . . you'll love these beauties!
